New 1:1 Learning Services Are Now Available
Creating video content can feel exciting, overwhelming, motivating, mildly chaotic, and somehow deeply personal all at once.
One minute you have a great idea. The next minute you are staring at your phone, your camera, your editing software, or your social media drafts wondering how exactly this became a full-time emotional support puzzle.
That is exactly why I have created a new series of 1:1 learning services through Learn with KVK.

These sessions are designed for artists, small business owners, creatives, performers, organizations, and curious humans who want personalized support with content creation, video editing, creative direction, or building more confidence on camera.
Instead of following a one-size-fits-all course, these 1:1 sessions are tailored to your specific goals, skill level, questions, workflow, and creative blocks.
Whether you are trying to finally understand your editing software, create better social media videos, develop a more consistent content practice, or get hands-on mentorship from idea to finished post, there is now a learning option built for you.
How the 1:1 services work
Each 1:1 service begins with a simple process:
You choose the service that best fits what you need, purchase it through my website, and then book your first call through the scheduling page provided after checkout.
For longer mentorship packages, the first call is used to clarify your goals, review where you are currently at, and shape the remaining sessions around what will actually help you move forward.
These sessions can happen online, making them flexible and accessible whether you are based in Stratford, elsewhere in Ontario, or working from wherever your creative life currently has you stationed.
The goal is to make learning feel practical, supportive, and immediately useful — not like you have been dropped into a tutorial labyrinth with no snacks.
The 1:1 Services
1:1 Creative Mentorship

Best for: artists, filmmakers, creators, performers, small business owners, and creative people who need clarity, momentum, or an outside eye.
The 1:1 Creative Mentorship session is the most flexible offering. This is for anyone who wants support around their creative direction, content ideas, project planning, storytelling, confidence, or next steps.
You might have a project you are trying to shape, a content idea you are unsure how to execute, a creative block you want to work through, or a general feeling of “I know I want to make something, but my brain has opened 72 tabs and only 3 of them are responding.”
This session gives you space to talk through your ideas with someone who understands creative process, production, editing, performance, and the very real emotional obstacle course of putting your work into the world.
This service may be right for you if:
- You have ideas but need help organizing them.
- You want feedback on a creative project or content direction.
- You are trying to build confidence around sharing your work.
- You need accountability, strategy, or a fresh perspective
- You need accountability, strategy, or a fresh perspective.
- You are not necessarily looking for a full course — just focused support.
Video Editing Foundations Software of Your Choice

Best for: beginners, self-taught editors, small business owners, artists, and creators who want to understand their editing software without spiraling into tutorial fatigue.
The Video Editing Foundations service is designed to help you get more comfortable with the editing software you are using — or want to start using.
This can include programs like DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or another editing tool that fits your needs.
The focus is not on learning every single button in the software. The focus is on helping you understand the parts of editing that actually matter for your goals: importing footage, organizing your media, building a timeline, cutting clips, adding music, adjusting audio, exporting properly, and creating a repeatable workflow.
Editing can feel intimidating at first because software tends to introduce itself like a spaceship dashboard. This session helps simplify the process and make the tools feel more human.
This service may be right for you if:
- You are new to video editing.
- You have editing software but do not feel confident using it.
- You want someone to walk you through the basics at your pace.
- You are editing videos for social media, YouTube, personal projects, or client work.
- You want to stop guessing your way through exports, timelines, and “why is there no audio?”
1:1 Custom Mobile Content Mentorship

Best for: small business owners, artists, entrepreneurs, creators, and organizations who want to make better content using the phone they already have.
The Custom Mobile Content Mentorship service is built for people who want to create stronger video content without needing to become a full film crew overnight.
This service focuses on using your smartphone as a practical creative tool. Together, we can work on content ideas, filming techniques, lighting, framing, audio, on-camera confidence, editing apps, caption writing, posting strategy, and building a workflow that feels realistic for your actual life.
This is especially useful if you know you should be making more video content, but the process feels clunky, awkward, or difficult to keep up with.
The goal is not to make you chase every trend. The goal is to help you create content that feels clear, intentional, and aligned with what you actually do.
This service may be right for you if:
- You want to create better Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, or social videos.
- You mostly film with your phone.
- You want help developing content ideas and turning them into finished posts.
- You feel awkward on camera and want practical support.
- You are a small business owner or artist who needs content but does not want social media to consume your soul.
1-on-1 Content Crash Course Intensive

Best for: people who want the full Content Crash Course experience, but personalized to their own goals, schedule, and skill level.
The 1-on-1 Content Crash Course Intensive is the most in-depth learning option.
This is a personalized version of my Content Crash Course, designed to guide you through the full process of creating video content: idea development, planning, filming, editing, and posting.
Instead of moving through the material in a group setting, this version is tailored entirely to you. We can focus on your business, your creative practice, your social media goals, your confidence level, your current equipment, and your preferred platforms.
This is a strong fit if you want more structure than a single mentorship session, but more personalization than a group workshop.
Over the course of the intensive, we can work together to build content ideas, plan videos, shoot intentionally, edit more efficiently, and create a repeatable process that you can continue using after the sessions are complete.
This service may be right for you if:
- You want a guided start-to-finish content creation process.
- You are serious about improving your video content.
- You want personalized support over multiple sessions.
- You have specific goals for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, your website, or your business.
- You want the Content Crash Course experience, but fully tailored to you.
Which service should you choose?
Here is the simplest way to think about it:
If you need help with your creative direction, ideas, confidence, or overall strategy, start with 1:1 Creative Mentorship.
If you specifically want to learn how to use editing software, choose Video Editing Foundations.
If your main goal is to make better content with your phone for social media, choose Custom Mobile Content Mentorship.
If you want the full guided experience from idea to finished content, choose the 1-on-1 Content Crash Course Intensive.
Each option is designed to meet you where you are. You do not need to have everything figured out before booking. In fact, not having everything figured out is often the whole reason to book.
Why I created these services
I created these 1:1 services because I know how different everyone’s creative needs can be.
Some people need technical editing support. Some people need help figuring out what to say on camera. Some people need a repeatable workflow. Some people need someone to look at their ideas and say, “Yes, there is something here — now let’s shape it.”
My background as a filmmaker, editor, content creator, producer, and performer has shown me that making strong video content is not just about gear or algorithms. It is about clarity, confidence, structure, storytelling, and learning how to work with the tools you already have.
I also bring my improv training into this work, especially when helping people build comfort on camera, generate ideas, and get out of their heads long enough to actually make the thing.
Because sometimes the biggest barrier is not the camera.
Sometimes it is the tiny internal committee meeting that starts the second you press record.
Ready to work together?
My new 1:1 learning services are now available through the Learn with KVK section of my website.
Whether you are learning to edit, building a content workflow, developing your creative voice, or looking for personalized guidance from idea to finished video, I would love to help you make the process feel clearer, more doable, and maybe even enjoyable.
Because yes, content creation can actually be enjoyable.
Wild, I know.
